Since 1994, the Carolina Production Journal (previously known as the Reel Carolina Journal of Film and Television) has been the principal source for news and information about film and television productions in the Carolinas. Published bi-monthly, the print magazine features a mix of production updates, interviews, columns by industry veterans, event calendars, information on workshops/classes and news about countless other entertainment industry happenings throughout North & South Carolina.
In January 2010, the Carolina Production Journal acquired new ownership and went on a short hiatus in order to initiate a complete “re-boot” of the publication. Starting with the April/May 2010 issue, the magazine relaunched with a new look, an expanded editorial focus that includes professional theater in the Carolinas, and greatly increased coverage of the region’s film and television industries.
Written for industry insiders and general audiences alike, the Carolina Production Journal provides a thorough look at the film, television and theater productions making news in the Carolinas. One-year subscriptions to the magazine are available for $20 here. Subscribers to the print magazine also receive regular e-newsletter, which features breaking news and important production updates.
